I wish I could tell you who to bet on as the Final Four finals in US college basketball take place this weekend in Indianapolis. But even though the field has been narrowed down from 96 to the Final Four, it’s still a tough call. The Kentucky Wildcats, Wisconsin Badgers, Michigan State Spartans and Duke Blue Devils – three number one seeds and one dangerous underdog. Anybody’s game.
The Kentucky Wildcats began as the obvious but the Wisconsin Badgers have looked good in the tourney so far and there is no reason why they couldn’t eliminate their rival early. Michigan State and Duke is a battle between two of the highest-profile coaches in the game. Tom Izzo and Mike Krzyzewski, each capable of taking their boys to victory.
“Our players really know their hoops,” said the sportsbook manager at Intertops Sportsbook. “We’ve had some heavy action on the Spartans to surprise in the South from the word go. Many customers who bet on Michigan State to win it all at odds of +5000 will be facing a nail-biting Easter weekend now!”
“Early upsets mean that none of our customers had a perfect March Madness bracket, but the $25,000 prize we put up will be split between the top 25 entries.”
Intertops is running a Final Four Free Bet contest on its Facebook page. Post your tip and you could win a $100 free bet.

Midweek soccer action in Germany sees the round of last 16 in the national cup competition. DFB Pokal take center stage. Still being in with a chance of getting to the final in Berlin is a massive confidence booster for every team during the upcoming winter break and so thrilling action should be guaranteed.
The draw has provided fans with three all-Bundesliga clashes: Schalke vs. Hoffenheim, Freiburg vs. Leverkusen and Augsburg vs. seemingly unbeatable Bayern Munich. Neutral fans across the country always have an eye on the underdogs, but with most top teams enjoying home advantage over lower-ranked opposition, surprises might be few and far between.
Borussia Dortmund faces a potentially tricky game at third-tier Saarbrücken, but should have the class to move on. One team that will have to be on its toes is inconsistent Hamburg which welcomes second division leader Cologne to the Imtech Arena. The home outfit has been leaking goals at an alarming rate all season, whilst the visiting “Goats” have impressed in all aspects of their game under new coach Peter Stöger in the last few months and will have no fears about taking on a renowned Bundesliga side.
An amazing atmosphere is always guaranteed when these two big clubs go toe to toe, but who will stay in the race for the final?
